Recent History
Grimsby Borough first team entered the Lincs League in 1990/91 having come from the Central Midlands Supreme League. In their debut season they missed out on the title on goal difference, finishing runners up. In their next season they finished fourth before leaving to join the Central Midlands League once again. In 2003/04 the club's first team re-entered the league and once again finished in runners up spot before achieving promotion back to the CML. Currently they compete in the Northern Counties East League, however the club have entered a reserve side since that season. Their most notable season being the 2011/12 campaign where they became winners of the Challenge Cup and also finished fourth place in the league.
