Weekend Round Up of gameweek 14 in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League.

WYBERTON caused the upset of the weekend with an impressive 4-1 away victory to end Lincoln Moorland's unbeaten start to the season.

Brigg Town came back from a two goal deficit to beat Nettleham, whilst Gainsborough Trinity Reserves held onto top spot with a 2-1 win at Horncastle Town. Ruston Sports won by the odd goal in seven to put a holt to their losing streak, whilst bottom side Immingham recorded their first home victory of the season to move up to ninth. Finally, Cleethorpes Town closed in on the top three with a 2-0 win at home against the inform Louth Town.

Cleethorpes Town Reserves 2-0 Louth Town

Two second half goals from Jack Boswell and David Deane were enough to secure all three points in a close contest on The Owl's return to The Linden Homes Club, to end Louth Town's four game winning streak. The hosts now move just three points behind third place Lincoln United with a game in hand, whilst The White Wolves sit eleventh.

Horncastle Town 1-2 Gainsborough Trinity Reserves

Trinity claimed their fourth away victory of the season to hold onto their place at the summit of the Lincs League table with a narrow 2-1 win at the home of The Wongers. The visitors went into the break with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Leigh Hutchinson and Zach Casburn, and despite conceding a goal late in following half, they were able to see out the game to earn another crucial three points.

Immingham Town 2-1 Lincoln United Development

The Pilgrims moved off the bottom of the table with victory against third placed Lincoln United. Carl Price and Daniel Simpson gave the hosts a 2-0 lead, before Marlon Grundy pulled one back for the visitors. Despite piling on the pressure in the second half, Immingham managed to hold onto their lead to secure their first home win of the season.

Lincoln Moorlands Railway 1-4 Wyberton

Wyberton continued their recent cup success with a significant 4-1 victory away at the Moorlands Sports Ground. A Curtis Revell hat-trick fired his side to their first away win of the campaign against a side who were on a six game winning streak coming into the game. This result sees Wyberton move onto ten points, level with their oponents, but Moorlands have played just five games compared to nine of the Boston side.

Nettleham 2-3 Brigg Town CIC

Jack Higginson's double gave the Nettles a two goal lead going into the half time break. Another Lee Thompson team talk proved crucial once again as his side leveled the proceedings five minutes after, with goals from Jack Tierney and Jake Reed. It seemed the points were going to be shared, however Reece Moody struck in the ninetieth minute to give his side another three points and remain joint top of the table.

Ruston Sports 4-3 Grimsby Borough Reserves

Gavin Mackie's brace spearheaded a morale boosting victory for the reigning champions who ended a five game losing streak with victory over Grimsby Borough. Alex Mackinder and Callum Dye also scored for Ruston's, while goals from Adam Whall (2), and Jamie Milne saw their side fall just short in this encounter.
