Weekend Round Up: Gameweek 31

LINCOLN MOORLANDS RAILWAY return to the top of the table with a convincing 5-1 victory away at Immingham, while Brigg Town and Lincoln United Development secured Challenge Cup final spots with wins over Louth and Horncastle, respectively. Wyberton put three more points on the board with a home win over Nettleham.

League:

Immingham Town 1-5 Lincoln Moorlands Railway

Gary Nimmo's second half hat-trick took The Moors back to the top of the table. Anderson gave the visitors the lead from the spot before Carl Price scored his twelve goal of the season for the Pilgrims to level things. Nimmo put his ex-team mates to the sword scoring three times in just twenty minutes and Josh Raby rounded things off when he found the fifth.

Wyberton 3-0 Nettleham

Wyberton made it four wins on the bounce as they brushed aside Nettleham at The Causeway. Nicky Frost's brace and a Curtis Revell goal sees them move up the chasing pack and into pole position for a top four finish.

Challenge Cup:

Horncastle Town 0-1 Lincoln United Development

Having already tasted victory on The Wong earlier in the season, The Whites made it a league and cup double as a single Callum Chapman sank the hosts who were eyeing up their second cup final of the season. The Lincoln side will play Brigg Town in the final.

Louth Town 2-4 Brigg Town CIC

The Zebras increased their chances of multiple silverware this season, with a 4-2 away win over recently improved Louth Town. The Whites were looking to make it three successive victories in all competitions but title contenders Brigg were too strong. A Reece Moody hat-trick and a Ryan Thompson goal was enough to book their side a place in the final, despite Rocky Rawlings' best efforts who netted a brace for the hosts.
