Seventeen goals in just two games has seen Moorlands enjoy a solid month in the Lincolnshire League to claim the final honour of 2018.
Their opening league fixture of the month came on the 15th where they put Immingham Town to the sword on home soil scoring thirteen goals and conceding just once. Chris Nuttall led the scoring with a hat-trick whilst Robbie Smith, Gary Nimmo and Sora Huriuchi all claimed a brace amongst other goals. Off the back of that result, they then ended their fine finish to the year inflicting defeat on last years champions, Ruston Sports. On this occasion it was Jesse Anderson who fired in a hat-trick along with a goal from Gary Nimmo to sink the sports in the Newark Road derby.
Having played just seven league fixtures so far this season Moorlands currently sit twelve points behind the leaders Gainsborough Trinity, with five games in hand.
