LEAGUE:
LINCOLN UNITED RESERVES will move three points clear at the top of the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League if they win against Spalding United Development squad this weekend.
With six teams involved in the first round of the Lincs Junior Cup, there are only two league fixtures. As well Spalding's trip to Ashby Avenue, Horncastle Town play host to Wyberton on The Wong.
Horncastle Town vs Wyberton - The Wong, 15:00 kick off
These two sides come into the game in identical form. Just one win out of four fixtures sees both teams sitting lower than they would have aimed, and expected, even at this early point of the season. Having scored just eight goals in the six games they have played so far, the hosts will need to up their attacking game, if they're to get anything out of this one. Last season the Boston side took four out of six possible points from this match up and another win on this occasion would see them leapfrog their opponents into seventh place.

The Whites will be hoping their Team of the Month award doesn't jinx their current form as they look to regain their spot at the top of the table, having enjoyed it for just a week after the first round of matches. As for the visitors, they will be hoping to cause an upset here to end their disappointing start to the season.
